By accessing the Site or registering your Synology product, you are consenting to the information collection and use practices described in this privacy statement.

Synology Inc. may ask you for information that personally identifies you (personal information) or allows Synology Inc. to contact you to provide a service or carry out a transaction that you have requested. Collection of Synology Product Usage Information
When you use Synology products, Synology may collect different levels of information from you and/or your Synology system. The type of information depends on how much information you wish to provide.
- Register: if you choose to register your Synology product with us, you will provide us with the following information:
- Email address (that becomes associated with the Synology Account)
- The serial number of your Synology Products
- The Country where the system you use is.
If you choose not to register your Synology product with us, identifiable information will not be transmitted.
- Usage Sharing: if you agree to provide us with more information, your system will periodically report the following information regarding your usage of the Synology products system:
- The information of the disks installed in your system, including brand, model name, health, logs
- Volume and storage configuration of your Synology system.
- The Synology DSM/SRM and package version.
- The services running on your system
- The information of external devices, including Wi-Fi adapters, DVB sticks, printers, UPS devices, DLNA players.
- Users’ browsers to connect to DSM/SRM web interface
- IP camera information in Surveillance Station
Use of Synology Product Usage Information:
The information collected from the Synology DSM/SRM helps us provide you with content, services and a more personalized experience based on information you provide. It also helps us better understand how Synology products are used and how we can improve our products in the future. No information collected from you or Synology system will be rent or sold to any third parties.

Synology Inc. may occasionally update this privacy statement. For material changes to this privacy statement, Synology Inc. will either notify you by placing a prominent notice on the home page of the Site or by directly sending you a notification.
