"Before using C2 Password, I often had to reset my students' passwords. Besides being time consuming, it prevented us from focusing on our work. C2 Password fixed all this, helping our students understand the importance of privacy and credential safekeeping along the way."
Samir Buric, Professor and Lecturer, Electrical and Wood Processing High School of Bihac, Bosnia and Herzegovina

"C2 Transfer’s end-to-end encryption helps our organization upload confidential files to external servers more securely. In addition, one-time password protection through email or phone further reduces our worries about data leaks."

Frequently asked questions
What do I require to sign up for the free plan?
All you need is an email to sign up for Synology account. No credit card is required to sign up. The free plan gives you all the core features of C2 Password, including the ability to store up to 10,000 items, autosave and autofill, and cross-device syncing. You can enjoy C2 Password on desktop and mobile without ads.
The Plus plan offers all the same features and much more, including the opportunity to keep a shared vault with others and store even item attachments.
Are my passwords secure with C2 Password?
Yes, and this is why:
1. Before your C2 Password data leaves your PC browser, it is end-to-end encrypted by your C2 Encryption Key using AES 256, which is widely used by the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) for top secret information. Encryption of data at rest and in transit is like storing your data in a vault, then putting the already-encrypted data in an armored vehicle for transport if needed.
2. AES 256 encrypted data will take a supercomputer today at least millions of years to crack.
3. All encrypted data is only accessible at the PC browsers after you input the C2 Encryption Key, a key phrase only you have and only you know.
4. If you happen to lose your C2 Encryption Key, we will not be able to get it back. Thus, it is critical that you keep your C2 Key as safe and secure as possible.
You can read more about how security is at the core of C2 Password on our security white paper.
How do I set up C2 Password with an existing Synology Account?
