Frequently asked questions How long can I continue using C2 Password? C2 Password is entering a phased end-of-life process. The specific end date may vary depending on your subscription plan and billing cycle. For full timeline and details, see this article. Are my passwords secure with C2 Password? Yes, and this is why:
1. Before your C2 Password data leaves your PC browser, it is end-to-end encrypted by your C2 Encryption Key using AES 256, which is widely used by the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA) for top secret information. Encryption of data at rest and in transit is like storing your data in a vault, then putting the already-encrypted data in an armored vehicle for transport if needed.
2. AES 256 encrypted data will take a supercomputer today at least millions of years to crack.
3. All encrypted data is only accessible at the PC browsers after you input the C2 Encryption Key, a key phrase only you have and only you know.
4. If you happen to lose your C2 Encryption Key, we will not be able to get it back. Thus, it is critical that you keep your C2 Key as safe and secure as possible.

 Can I still register C2 Password with my Synology Account? C2 Password is no longer accepting new registrations. Only existing users may continue to use the service until the EOL date. For full timeline and details, see this article. Which platforms are supported? C2 Password is available on all popular browsers through a web portal. The C2 Password browser extension can be downloaded for free on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.

The iOS and Android mobile apps are also supported.

 How can I import my passwords? All you need is a CSV file containing a correctly formatted list of your passwords. Then you can import this file from My Vault on the Web Portal.
